Big Daddy Conch’s serves authentic Key West style Cuban & Bahamian food, based mostly on the family recipes of “Miss Joan” Allen Leggett, the owner’s mother. The cooking staff spent many days at Miss Joan’s house learning how to make real Key West specialties like Cracked Conch, Shrimp and Pidgeon Peas N Rice, Conch Fritters, Picadilla, Cuban Roast Pork, even Boiled Fish.
As the company’s Vice President of “This Food Better Taste Good”, Miss Joan regularly taste tests every one of the menu items prepared at Big Daddy Conch’s, to make sure the home cooked family flavor is perfect. She also mandates that our Conch be flown in daily from the Caribbean, and expertly tenderized & seasoned the Bahamian way. As a result, our Conch Salad, prepared at your table to ensure freshness, is the most tender and flavorful on the island. In addition, we prepare our Cuban Roast Pork with a double marinating process. Miss Joan ensures that Big Daddy Conch's takes the time to do it right.

Key West's answer to chili, this Cuban ground beef hash is garnished with olives, capers, and raisins. Served traditionally with white rice and Cuban bread.
Expertly seasoned and breaded in cornmeal, we serve our tender chunks of catfish with our Red n' Sour sauce along with your choice of two sides. We can also prepare this "Creole" style upon request.
